Another one of my favorites. The food here is superb and so is the selection/menu.
There are a couple of different rooms with various themes and menus throughout and two
nice bars. Prices are reasonable and in the past few years they have geared themselves
more toward the family arena. Singles can still have a good time here and the bars here
are often full. A real stomping ground for many after work. This place works for just
about whatever you have in mind. Try it, I think you'll like this one.

Clyde's of Tysons is still going strong after its groundbreaking entry into the
upscale dining market back in the early eighties. Trouble is, finding the place is a bitch.
Perched up on one of the highest points in northern Virginia, be prepared to do some
looking for the place despite its lofty position, especially if you haven't been there
before. Once there also make some time to park. The parking lot fills up very quickly
right around happy hour and doesn't empty for some time. Be prepared to walk some distance
as cars can be found to line up along the service road for quite a stretch. Once seated,
you will begin to see why Clyde's is notorious for its opulent surroundings. One room boasts
a wall length nude mural, so be careful if you plan on taking the kids. If your with a
date, then the mural will be an interesting conversation piece. If you are a single guy,
then it will give you something to think about while you wait for your drink. You can
choose from three dining rooms; the Palm Terrace, the Grill Room and the Café. The
Grill Room requires advanced reservations and tends to be pricier than the other rooms.
Most items on the menu are appealing to the eye and quite pleasing to the taste buds.
Try the artichoke and crab dip, it’s outstanding! Other excellent menu choices are the
meats and the daily specials. Definitely one of my favorite.
