A Little Background on Byron and Steve and Their Goal

Our Goal:   So….why start a Web Site that rates area restaurants and bars?  The idea was born on a "boys night out" when faced with a barrage of choices on where to go.  The inevitable question of "which place is best" reared its ugly head.  So many places, so little information.  We decided to create a web page dedicated to reviewing Washington area food and entertainment establishments.  We also want to give you, our valued site patron, the  opportunity to get in on the action.  Our site values your opinion too! Other critics always provide one or two view points, but can you really get a true opinion from one or even two people.  We didn’t think so, so we ask for your input too! 

A little bit about Steve:   Steve provides a singles look at the establishments we visit.  Therefore, he may review places with a different angle than Byron.  Maybe looking at it from an angle of where to take a prospective date.  Steve grew up in the Washington D.C. area and has been a resident here for over 30 years.

A little bit about Byron:  Byron provides the "married-with-children" look at the establishments we visit.  He generally provides a more conservative view of the places.  He'll look at angles such as whether the place is good to take kids or whether 2 parents on a night-out would enjoy the food and atmosphere of a place.  Byron also grew up in the Washington D.C. area and has been a resident here for over 30 years.
